Full Contour Zirconia (FCZ) crowns or as there also known as Solid Zirconia is opaque, so it’s generally recommended for mostly posterior crowns but can be used just as suitably for anterior restoration. FCZ contains more stabilizers than Layered Zirconia which makes it more durable to withstand the forces of mastication. This material is particularly suitable for patients who may grind their teeth and minimal clearance is required. Which provides a lower wear on the opposing teeth. FCZ is also very effective for masking highly discolored dental preps or for other hybrid cases such as a post and core or an implant-supported restoration.
